2025 KTM 390 Adventure, 390 Adventure X launched in India: Here’s what’s new


KTM India has launched the new KTM Adventure 390 and Adventure 390 X motorcycles in the Indian market priced at Rs 3.68 lakh and Rs 2.91 lakh (ex-showroom, respectively). Both bikes are based on an all-new platform and get an updated design, new colours, additional features and much more. Interested customers can book the bike online or by visiting their nearest KTM dealership, deliveries are expected to begin soon.

2025 KTM 390 Adventure

The 390 Adventure X is priced at Rs 77,000 lower than the 390 Adventure. Both bikes are powered by the same engine found in the latest 390 Duke, a 399cc single-cylinder unit that produces 46hp and 39Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox and equipped with a bidirectional quick-shifter. The 390 Adventure X variant retains the overall design of the 390 Adventure but features 19/17-inch alloy wheels and a more basic electronics package. Additionally, its suspension setup is non-adjustable; however, with 200mm of front and 205mm of rear travel, it has the same suspension travel as the Adventure.

That being said, the 2025 Adventure X now features the same TFT display found on the 390 Adventure as well as the latest 200, 250, and 390 Duke models. The steel trellis frame on the Adventure is suspended by adjustable WP suspension and the motorcycle weighs 183kg, which means the new 390 Adventure is 6 kilos heavier than the outgoing model.

2025 KTM Adventure X

The big new feature additions on the 390 Adventure are tubeless spoked wheels (21/17-inch, front and rear) and cruise control, and the latter is a first for this class. The updated motorcycle features a significantly lower 830mm seat height while offering an improved 227mm ground clearance. The most notable upgrades on the 390 Adventure include tubeless spoked wheels (21-inch at the front and 17-inch at the rear) and the addition of cruise control, making it the first in its segment to offer this feature.

2025 KTM 250 Adventure

Alongside, the company has also launched the new KTM 250 Adventure at Rs 2.60 lakh (ex-showroom). The new KTM 250 Adventure features a refreshed design, including a redesigned front beak and a vertically stacked Bi-LED projector headlight.
The 250 Adventure is powered by the same 250cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine as the latest 250 Duke, with 31hp and 25Nm of torque. It features a split-trellis frame and has a kerb weight of 177kg. It features a 5-inch TFT display with connected technology, a bi-directional quick-shifter, and ride-by-wire with multiple riding modes The bike rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels and comes with a fully adjustable suspension, offering 200mm of front travel and 205mm at the rear, with a seat height of 825mm.
