Today, Neelam, shared a series of pictures from her Haldi ceremony on Instagram. In the first photo, Neelam is seen giving a sweet kiss to her husband, Siddharth Chopra, while both are covered in Haldi.
One picture showed Priyanka Chopra dancing with a guest, enjoying the celebrations. Another featured her mother, Madhu Chopra, holding a little kid lovingly. Also, in another picture, the Desi Girl was seen giving a high-five to the child.
Among the 20 pictures, one heartwarming moment stood out—Priyanka Chopra was seen applying Haldi to her sister-in-law, Neelam Upadhyaya, while giving her a sweet kiss on the cheek. The post was captioned, “Drowning in flowers (and love).”
A few days ago, Neelam Upadhyaya shared an Instagram story revealing a severe allergy she developed after the Haldi ceremony. In the video, she showed her inflamed skin and asked her followers for remedies to recover from the reaction, which was triggered by the Haldi paste after sun exposure.
Neelam also shared a photo of her irritated skin, asking her followers for suggestions. Despite doing a patch test before the ceremony, she mentioned that the Haldi paste still caused a reaction.
Siddharth Chopra and Neelam tied the knot on February 7, 2025. Their wedding was preceded by a series of grand celebrations, starting with a Mata Ki Chowki, followed by Haldi, Mehendi, and Sangeet ceremonies.
The festivities were attended by close friends and family, including Parineeti Chopra, her parents, and her husband, Raghav Chadha. Bollywood celebrities like Rekha and Anusha Dandekar also joined the celebrations to bless the couple.
