Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt, known for their strong friendship and past collaborations in films like ‘Chal Mere Bhai‘, ‘Saajan’ and ‘Yeh Hai Jalwa’, are reportedly set to star together in an upcoming American thriller, creating excitement among their fans.
According to a report in Mid-Day, Salman and Sanjay are currently in Saudi Arabia to film their cameo roles for a big-budget Hollywood thriller. The shoot began on February 17 and will go on until February 19 at AlUla Studios, a new, high-tech film production facility that has just opened in the country.
While the makers have kept the project details secret, a source revealed that the film is an American thriller, with both Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt playing important roles in key sequences.
The report further mentioned that Salman and Sanjay are extremely popular in both Bollywood and the Middle East. Their scenes are being specially crafted to leave a strong impression on a global audience. The shoot will last three days, with Salman’s team arriving in Riyadh on Sunday morning.
The report also stated that the details of the project will be shared later, as both the actors and their teams are under a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
AlUla is becoming well-known for its stunning desert landscapes and historic architecture. It has also become a popular location for major Hollywood films, such as Gerard Butler’s spy thriller Kandahar.
Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt were last seen together in a special song for Ajay Devgn‘s 2012 film Son of Sardaar.
On the work front, Salman is currently working on his much-anticipated film Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the movie stars Rashmika Mandanna, Prateik Babbar, Sharman Joshi, Sathyaraj, and Kajal Aggarwal, among others. Sikandar is scheduled for release on Eid 2025.
