The selection process for these positions will be merit-based, relying on candidates’ academic performance in Higher Secondary (or equivalent) examinations, Graduation, Diploma in Education, and Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET). Assam DEE Teacher Recruitment 2025: Marking criteria
For Assistant Teachers, Science Teachers, and Hindi Teachers in UP Schools:
- 5% of marks secured in Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or equivalent) examination.
- 5% of marks secured in the Graduation exam (if a candidate has a major subject, those marks will be considered).
- 5% of marks secured in Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), D.Ed. (Special Education), or B.Ed. (Special Education).
- 80% of marks secured in the Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET) for Upper Primary Schools.
- Maximum of 5 marks for extracurricular activities.
For Assistant Teachers in LP Schools:
- 5% of marks secured in Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or equivalent) examination.
- 5% of marks secured in Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed), or Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- 85% of marks secured in the Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET) for Lower Primary Schools.
