Veteran all-rounder Mahmudullah has informed BCB Cricket Operations that he does not wish to continue his national contract beyond February 2025. As a result, he will be excluded from the list starting in March. Meanwhile, former captain Mushfiqur Rahim, who recently retired from ODIs, will be placed in Grade B from March onwards.
Wicketkeeper Parvez Hossain Emon, who did not feature in the Champions Trophy, has also been left out of the contract list.
Among the players awarded contracts are wicketkeeper Litton Das, pacer Hasan Mahmud, Test opener Shadman Islam, spinner Taijul Islam, and bowler Shoriful Islam, who missed the Champions Trophy due to injury.
Batting all-rounder Mominul Haque, bowling all-rounder Mahedi Hasan, and pacer Khaled Ahmed were also included.
The contracts, effective from January 1, 2025, are divided into five categories:
- A+ Category: Taskin Ahmed (sole recipient)

Bangladesh exited in the group stage of the ICC Champions Trophy after defeats to India and New Zealand, while their match against hosts Pakistan was washed out.
However, securing a place in the tournament was a significant achievement, as Bangladesh finished among the top eight in the ODI rankings, surpassing former World Cup winners Sri Lanka and the West Indies.
