‘Mufasa: The Lion King’ Box Office Collection Day 20: The Shah Rukh Khan voiced animated action drama roars louder than ‘Baby John’ with Rs 1.04 crore earnings on Wednesday

Blame it on the emotions, the VFX, or the stellar voice cast that includes Shah Rukh Khan (Hindi), Mahesh Babu (Telugu) or Beyonce, Donal Glover (English), and more, ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’ is maintaining a steady pace at the Indian box office. Day 20 box office report shows that according to the early estimates the movie earned Rs.1.04 crores on Wednesday, making the total cross the Rs. 125 crore mark in India, stated Sacnilk.
Directed by Barry Jenkins, the movie premiered in the US on December 9, 2024, and worldwide it hit the big screens on December 20, 2024. It is a new version of the original 1994 released ‘The Lion King.’ It has garnered love for a new spin on the old tale that kept the legacy intact and enhanced the feel with VFX.

Kelvin Harrison Jr. excels as Taka/Scar, capturing the character’s evolution from insecure sibling to bitter antagonist. Mads Mikkelsen shines as Kiros, the commanding leader of the Outsiders, while Billy Eichner and Seth Rogen return as Timon and Pumbaa, injecting humour with their delightful chemistry. Mufasa: The Lion King is a visual treat that immerses audiences in a beautifully rendered world. Its stunning CGI, aesthetic appeal, and engaging performances captivate, and make for an experience worth having on the big screen.”
