CSIR UGC NET December 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a notice regarding the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET) December 2024. According to the notice, NTA has canceled the CSIR UGC NET December 2024 exam conducted at an examination center in Assam today, February 28, due to a technical glitch. The agency has stated that details regarding the rescheduling of the examination will be announced soon.
The official notice reads, ‘Due to technical glitch, the exam held in the subject of Earth Science and Mathematical Sciences on 28.02.2025 (Shift 1 ONLY) at Assam Down Town University, Guwahati, Assam stands cancelled. The new date, time and center details will be communicated shortly.’

As per the information, the mathematics, earth, atmospheric, ocean, and planetary sciences papers were scheduled to be held from 9 am to 12 pm.
NTA is holding CSIR UGC NET December 2024 from February 28 to March 2 for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as assistant professor, and admission to PhD programmes. The admit cards were released on February 25, 2025.
