Allu Arjun has been in the industry for years, and several of his films have made headlines; however, the fame and business ‘Pushpa’ and ‘Pushpa 2’ brought are different. The self-proclaimed ‘wildfire’ is living up to its name with its continued magic at the box office. Original a South drama, the movie has created and smashed records in all languages. On Tuesday, the movie completed a theatrical run of 41 days and minted Rs. 1.5 crore from Telugu and Hindi, according to the Sacnilk report. This has taken the total of the movie to Rs 1223 crore in India.
On day 40, the first Monday of the sixth week, the movie recorded its lowest. It chased the Rs1 crore figure and finally was able to round it up. However, the craze for the movie seems to have a hold over the audience, and the early estimates of Tuesday show a rise of around 50 percent.
Released on December 5, the Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer has faced competition not with one but two highly anticipated movies. During the Christmas holiday release window Varun Dhawan’s ‘Baby John’ and Disney’s animated adventure drama ‘Mufasa: The Lion King,’ were released but neither of them could affect the business of ‘Pushpa 2.’

Though in December ‘Pushpa 2’ was the unbeatable champion, now in January, with the release of ‘Game Changer’ the game has been changed for the Allu Arjun starrer. The Ram Charan and Kiara Advani’s political drama has taken over the box office. The movie has made Rs.106.34 cr in just five days.
