RRB CBT 2 exam schedule: Railway Recruitment Boards(RRB) has released tentative exam dates for Computer Based Test (CBT) 2. The exams are set to be conducted on March 19 and 20, 2025. CBT 2 exam will be conducted to fill up the vacancies of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) and Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) posts.
According to the notice, the CBT 1 results are under the finalisation process and the list of shortlisted candidates for CBT 2 will be published shortly on the official website.
The link with exam date and city will be activated across all RRB sites 10 days prior to the examination. The link will also contain the travel authorities for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) candidates.

The first round of the selection process comprises of CBT test. Candidates who are selected based on their CBT performance will be invited for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and Document Verification (DV). The number of candidates selected for these stages will be up to 10 times the number of vacancies in each category, including Male, Female, and Ex-Servicemen, based on merit.
